BioTails is a very sweet and humble young fox. He is cheerful, unassuming, mature and highly intelligent, especially for his age. Despite all of these positive traits, Tails lacks confidence and believes that he also lacks courage. This doesn’t seem to be the case however, because he has more than once stood up to danger when the need arose, even taking on Eggman a few times by himself.
Tails admires Sonic as a longtime friend and hero, and would do anything for him. He really wants others to know they can count on him, whether the situation is serious or not, but has problems standing up for himself at times. He enjoys the company of his friends, but is more often found working on mechanical projects in his workshop. Unlike in his early friendship with Sonic, Tails takes time to think things through instead of running headlong through life. This trait also leads him to be in charge of planning in times of trouble.
He dislikes conflict of any kind, avoiding it whenever possible, but when something important is at stake he’ll see it through.
He loves mint candy, inventing or improving machines, and flying Sonic’s plane the Tornado or his own Tornado 2. He has a fear or thunder/lightning and monsters, and dislikes having his tails grabbed. He also has a tendency to ramble, sometimes on things he shouldn’t, and like most children can forget some details for things he does. He dislikes being called Miles.
